Sanctuary City

Set Designer- Capstone Project

This set displays how the idea of America is both out of reach and yet it is still home to Dreamers. Therefore, the set features a large, looming wall in the background that also serves as an abstracted city. In Act 2, the wall closes in and becomes the bones of a low-income apartment.

• This play by Martyna Majok is about B and G as they go through high school undocumented, and how their relationship changes when G acquires citizenship.
